Francesca Quintano was born in Santa Monica, California in 1987. She did her undergraduate work at Tufts University/ School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. She has traveled and studied extensively in France, Italy, and Spain. By the age of fifteen she had already worked in motion picture art departments for Warner Brothers and Universal Studios in Luxembourg and Nice. It is also at this time she had won a few art awards and honorable mentions for her paintings, photos, and drawings. She was chosen by Saatchi Gallery Online as one of the top ten most promising emerging artist out of 60,000 submissions and has shown in numerous galleries. She has shown work through solo shows, live paintings, and a multitude of auctions and group shows, all throughout Los Angeles. She has participated in the Venice Family Clinic Art Auction, the Venice Art Crawl, and several organized shows for profit and for charities. She is currently working and living in Venice Beach, CA, where she paints and runs a food blog with her boyfriend.
